URI Master Gardener Presentation | Dahlias

Please join Joan Sienkiewicz (MG 2018) to learn all about dahlias. The class will include a brief history of dahlias; the variety of dahlias today; how to grow them; and winter storage considerations.

Topics to be discussed include:

• Discover the beauty and versatility of dahlias.
• Explore their history how to grow them successfully in pots or the ground.
• Learn how to prepare plants for winter and store tubers.
